Artist Statement
The power and importance of imagination, how it shapes and molds us through fables, fairytales and legends, mythological and religious stories and exist, simultaneously, with our everyday reality is what fascinates me and fuels my work. My figurative narrative juxtaposes 2-D and 3-D imagery, to reflect these layers of reality and attempts to anchor the impressions in a faithful portrayal of color, form and light.
